In today's "homeland security" environment, the First Responder Institute (FRI) is a non profit organization dedicated to providing leadership and support to the nation's First Responders through programs of instruction and education. FRI's public service programs focus on helping First Responders improve their job-related skills and capacities in the following areas:
1) Readiness, performance and survivability;
2) Nutrition, physical fitness and health;
3) Physical and mental stress management
4) Saving lives.
To accomplish these vital goals, the First Responder Institute is constantly working to build coalitions of private and public sector organizations that will ensure FRI programs reflect the most advanced and appropriate contemporary learning environment and support systems for the nation's public safety personnel.
