In todays homeland security environment, the First Responder Institute (FRI) is a non profit organization dedicated to providing leadership and support to the nations First Responders through programs of instruction and education. FRIs public service programs focus on helping First Responders improve their job-related skills and capacities in the following areas:
1) Readiness, performance and survivability;
2) Nutrition, physical fitness and health;
3) Physical and mental stress management.
To accomplish these vital goals, the First Responder Institute is constantly working to build coalitions of private and public sector organizations that will ensure FRI programs reflect the most advanced and appropriate contemporary learning environment and support systems for the nations public safety personnel.

| 09/2008 - Dr. Paul Davis, president of First Responder Institute presents a $5000 check from Scott Health & Safety at press conferences in Little Rock and North Little Rock, AR. on the 8th of September, 2008. All three networks (NBC, CBS and ABC) covered the brief ceremony. Scott Health & Safety is the largest manufacturer of respiratory protection and a presenting sponsor of the World SWAT Challenge series. Best known for their Air-Pak and SWAT Pak Scott also makes a number of filter masks. The North Little Rock and Little Rock Police Departments have supported the World SWAT Challenge at Camp Robinson for the past three years and will use the proceeds of the Scott Foundation Grant to enhance their training and tactical readiness. |
